It is recommended that Eucalyptus radiata is inhaled to help open the bronchial tubes (airways). Mostly used for the treatment of chest ailments, the Eucalyptus radiata species is known as a more gentle Eucalyptus species because it has a lower concentration of Eucalyptol (around 60-70%). Research has shown that Eucalyptol is an effective treatment for acute bronchitis.
“The effects of Cineole in the treatment of acute bronchitis were clearly measurable and could be proven after a treatment period of merely 4 days.”Juergen Fischerand Uwe Dethlefsen.
